• Micro = A small space, like a jar or trash can.
  
• Local= A small area, such as your backyard.
  
• Regional  = A landscape, such as the Waddengebied.
  
• National  = An island, like Barbados.
  
• International = An area covering multiple countries like the Amazon.
  
• Global The Earth itself.
