Past simple Questions
Drie manieren om vragen te maken in de past simple:
  1. Was/were/could/would begin van de zin
  2. Did aan het begin van de zin
  3. Bij een vraag, WH-woord vooraan in de zin

Slide 6 - Slide

Manier 1: was/were/would/could
Bij een vraag in de past simple, komen was/were of hulpwerkwoorden would/could vooraan in de zin.
  • Was your sister on holiday last weekend?
  • Were your parents happy with the results?
  • Would you like to  come to my house?
  • Could you take pictures during the show?

Slide 7 - Slide

Manier 2: did
Bij alle andere vragen, zet je het woord did vooraan in de zin. Na did komt altijd het hele werkwoord!
  • Did you bring your homework to class?
  • Did they play GTA all night last night?
  • Did she take the train to Paris?
  • Did I forget to take my book?

Slide 8 - Slide

Manier 3: WH-vraag
WH-vragen zijn: who, what, which, when, where en how.
Wanneer je een vraag stelt met een van deze woorden, komt deze aan het begin van de zin!
  • Where were you last night?
  • What did they do?
  • How could I do that?
  • When do you want to meet?
