What is the present simple?

Gebruik:
Je gebruikt de tegenwoordige tijd als iets regelmatig, altijd of juist nooit zo is.
Je gebruikt dan woorden als: every day, always, never etc.
- We eat bread every day.
- I always go to work at eight o’clock.
- He never reads newspapers.
- To be, to have en to do hebben een eigen vorm

Let op:
- Bij he/she/it komt er een -s achter het werkwoord.
- Bij werkwoorden die eindigen op een -s of een sisklank komt er bij he/she/it -es achter het werkwoord.
She kisses. He pushes. She dances.

*Korte vormen: I’m, you’re, he’s, she’s, it’s, we’re, you’re, they’re

It is not always clearly stated whether we're talking about "he, she, it, you, we, or they''.

The sentences will often use names to avoid using the words above.
Example: Mia and I (we) walk to school together every single day.

What do you know about the present continuous?

Gebruik:
Je gebruikt de present continuous als je wilt zeggen wat er aan de gang is of waar iemand nu mee bezig is.
 
You make the present continuous with "am, are, is + verb + ing''.
You always need a form of to be before the verb!
