Introduction
Protagonist and antagonist(s) are introduced.

Hughie has many problems        in his life  and...
he wants to marry Laura

Rising Action
* the part where the tension rises and where the conflict is starting. 
• Laura Merton’s father will only allowed Hughie to marry his daughter for him to amass a wealth of £10,000. The problem is Hughie doesn’t know where he will get money.

Climax  
The CLIMAX of the story is when 
the CONFLICT of the PLOT is resolved.

Hughie Erskine offers his last bit of money, a sovereign, to a beggar who turns out to be the Baron Hausberg in disguise.
(The climax of the story is Hughie finding out that the beggar is actually Baron Hausberg.)

Falling Action

The falling action starts after Hughie Erskine gives his last penny to the beggar, and is forced to walk home in the rain. 
He reflects on his actions and begins to regret giving away all of his money, realizing that he won't be able to pay his bills.

Resolution

Hughie and Laura marry.

Alan is the best man, and the Baron gives a speech. Alan declares that “millionaire models” are quite rare, but that “model millionaires are rarer still!”
