Atmosferisch perspectief​

Painters and photographers use atmospheric perspective. This means they use darker colours on the foreground and lighter colours on the background. This creates depth.

Scherpte diepte
With sharpness you focus on your subject in the picture, making the background blurred.

Horizon recht
Wanneer een horizon duidelijk in beeld staat, is het belangrijk dat deze recht staat. Wanneer dit niet het geval is, zal je foto raar aanvoelen.​

-  Onderwerp in het midden​/ subject in the center
- Verkeerd tijdstip​/ wrong time
 - Scheve horizon​/ skewed horizon
- Te veel in beeld​/ too much going on
- Altijd fotograferen vanaf ooghoogte​
- Te weinig scherptediepte/ no sharpness/depth
