will / may / might + (not) + infinitive (without to).
  • Don't use may for questions.
  • may is more formal, might is more informal

When you are confident about a prediction.
  • I will win if I win this race.
  • It will not / won't rain tomorrow. The weather report said so.

When you are not very confident about a prediction.

  • I may cry if I watch this movie.
  • She may not like it if you use her pen.

  • The sky is dark, it might rain soon.
  • They might not come, since they just got grounded.
