If you can put 'by zombies' behind it, it's passive voice

Passive: object + was/were + verb (past tense)

When something happens every day/regularly/as expected

object + am/is/are + verb (past tense)

The food is divided among everyone every evening

The zombies always scare away the bird

The birds are always scared away by the zombies
