Let's try - fill in the present simple:

Let's try - fill in the present simple:

I walk to school every day. (to walk)

He doesn't eat six sandwiches in the morning. (to eat)

Do they sing badly? (to sing)

You use the present simple:

* facts                  The sun sets in the West.

* habits                He never brushes his teeth.

* timetables       Your lesson starts at a quarter past nine.

*signal words

Always - never - sometimes - usually - often - every

he/she/it = SHIT RULE

You make a present simple:

* affirmative sentence  he/she/it + full verb + (e)s

                                                  I / we / you / they + full verb

I walk                                               we walk

present simple - negative sentence

* negative sentence

- there is a modal verb in the sentence

- modal verb + not + full verb

He can walk.                                 He can't walk.

* there isn't a modal verb in the sentence

- don't / doesn't + full verb

They like to sing.                        They don't like to sing.

present simple - questions

* negative sentence

- there is a modal verb in the sentence

- Put the modal verb at the front of the sentence.

He can walk.                      Can he walk?

* there isn't a modal verb in the sentence

- do/ does + full verb

They like to sing.              Do they like to sing?
