Slide 9 - Open question

What is masculine?
What is masculine and what is feminine are largely societal constructs. Yes, there are biological differences that are clear to see. However, the definition of what it means to be a 'man' in western society has largely been determined by history and social constructs. Other cultures in other parts of the world attribute very different  qualities to men and women. In matriarchal societies women and men are given very different roles and character qualities than in our own patriarchal society.
