Part 3: gerunds/to infinitive
My name is Sara and I want to give you some advice on living more environmentally friendly. If you love to help/helping
the planet, sometimes it is best to avoid traveling by car if you can easily walk, bike or take public transport. Also avoid eating
foods that have to travel far to get to your plate. Lastly, it might not be easy (adjective!) to reduce how much meat you eat, but it is environmentally friendly to eat less meat! I ask you (object!) to help the environment by making these small changes.

vragen & ontkenningen - past simple
- 3 regels voor vragen maken in de verleden tijd (past simple):
- 1: was/were/could/would altijd aan het begin van de zin, net als in het Nederlands. Voorbeeld: I could not get a ticket > Could I not get a ticket?
- 2: Bij alle andere werkwoorden gebruik je "did" vooraan en vervolgens het andere werkwoord dat in de zin staat. VB: I worked here last summer. Did you work here last summer?
- 3: WH- question (what/where etc.) dan zet je die aan het begin. Voorbeeld: When did you go there? What did it taste like? How long did you travel?

Slide 13 - Slide

ontkenningen - past simple
- ontkenningen = negations in het Engels.
- 2 regels voor negations
- Regel 1: Was/were/could/would + not of -n't. VB: It wasn't sunny // I couldn't wait longer.
- Regel 2: andere werkwoorden gebruik je didn't of did not. Hierna volgt altijd het werkwoord zonder to. VB: We didn't eat all day // We did not swim this summer.
