Have/has + voltooid deelwoord 
Hierbij is er een verschil tussen regelmatige en onregelmatige werkwoorden.

Onregelmatige werkwoorden
voltooid deelwoord is hetzelfde als de past simple vorm. 
(have/has + hele ww + -ed) 

Something has happened.
voltooid deelwoord heeft zijn eigen vorm. Deze moet je uit je hoofd leren.

  1. Als je wilt zeggen sinds wanneer iets aan de gang is of hoelang iets al duurt. Altijd present perfect. (signaal woorden: for/since)
    We have lived here for three years.
    She hasn't talked to him since 2019.

  2. Als je wilt zeggen dat iets vroeger is gebeurd maar je weet niet precies wanneer (of dit is niet belangrijk) gebruik je altijd de present perfect.
    Have you visited Gran in the hospital yet?

  3. Als iets zojuist is gebeurd.
    Chris has already finished his exercises,
    He has just left the building.
