Let students activate prior-knowledge by discussing the two ads. Let them pay attention to image and language use. Encourage them to think about who they think the ad was made for (people and geographic location) and what is being sold.

The students are going to watch a video in which a BBC reporter drove around in one of these cars in Nov 22. Let the students watch so they get an idea of what it is like to be driving in such a vehicle.
