Adverbs = Bijwoorden
Bijwoorden zijn woorden zoals always / never / usually / often. De meeste geven aan hoe vaak iets gebeurt.

Bijwoorden staan: 
1) vóór het hoofdwerkwoord:
The badminton team always meets at 12.30.
I never sing in public.
She often says nice things to Dan.

2) na: am / are / is / was / were:
There’s always something to see.
It is often boring.
We’re usually busy on Wednesdays.

3) Let op: bij ontkenningen met to be zet je not tussen het werkwoord en het bijwoord.
It is not always easy. They aren’t usually this late.
