- Bij bestigende zinnen:

I have some cookies in my room.

- Bij vragende zinnen waar je het antwoord 'ja' op verwacht: 

Can I have some water?

                                 ANY

- Bij ontkennende zinnen = een zin waar het woordje not / n't in staat:

 I haven’t got any oranges.

- Bij alle andere vraagzinnen:

Do you have any brothers or sisters?
