Hoe maken we ook alweer een present continuous?
vb: The teacher is explaining grammar now.

Dus:

We maken een present continuous als:

• Iets nu op dit moment aan de gang is  (en van korte duur).
  
• Als er iets geregeld is om in de toekomst te gaan doen.
  
• Bij irritatie (always, constantly).
  

Voorbeelden:

• I am waiting for you at the station.
• Tom is walking around to find her.
• My sister is crying.
  

Wanneer gebruiken we een present perfect continuous?
vb: I have been waiting here for hours.

Dus:

Je gebruikt de present perfect continuous:

• als iets in het verleden begonnen is en nog steeds voortduurt en je wilt vooral de tijdsduur benadrukken.
• als de handeling je irriteert.
• bij de signaalwoorden recently/lately
