Exploring Animals and Plural Nouns

What do you already know about animals and plural nouns?

Introduction to Animals

Animals are living organisms that vary in size, habitat, and characteristics. They can be domesticated or wild.

Plural Nouns with 's'

To form the plural of most nouns, simply add 's' to the singular form. For example, cat becomes cats.

Plural Nouns with 'ies'

Some nouns form their plural by changing the 'y' to 'i' and adding 'es'. For example, baby becomes babies.

Using 'A' and 'An'

Use 'a' before words that begin with a consonant sound and 'an' before words that begin with a vowel sound.
