Present continuous "form to be" + werkwoord + ING

Question form: Is he speaking to the new girl? 

Negative form (ontkenning): He isn't returning my calls.

Spelling of some verbs
Sommige werkwoorden krijgen een verdubbeling van de medeklinker:
