When and Where did the murder happen? She was shaken in shotton Colliery in England on 28 september 2022. She wasn’t dead yet. She died two days later in the hospital on 30 september 2022. When it happened her mother, Dana Carr wasn’t home. So she didn’t see it happening.  Micheal Daymond had also been mistreating Maya for 5 weeks.

Why did the murder happen? Why did Micheal shake Maya to death. He was in debt with drug dealers. He had shaken the child because his benefits had stopped. So he was very angry and that's why he shook the child to death. He didn't want her to die. He didn't necessarily mean to kill her. He didn't think she would die because of that. So he was actually very angry and needed to express his anger. So he took out his anger on the child. But  that was not a good idea.
