Gerund
Een gerund (werkwoord + -ing) gebruik je als een zelfstandig naamwoord.
Je kunt een gerund gebruiken na werkwoorden als:




Love
I love travelling
Stop
They stopped seeing each other.
Start
Abigail always starts planning as soon as she gets homework.
Enjoy
They enjoy swimming.

Gerund = verb + ing
 a verb (ww) + ing = noun (zelfstandig naamwoord)
Je kunt een gerund gebruiken na werkwoorden zoals: Love, stop, start and enoy. 

shop (verb) + ing = shopping (noun)               = gerund
game (verb) + ing = gaming (noun)                  = gerund
eat (verb) + ing = eating (noun)                          = gerund
