Signal words: Last month/year, in the year (somewhere in the past), yesterday ect

How

Regular verb	Add -ed to the infinitive
Irregular verb	Study the verb list
Verb ends in E	Add -d to the infinitive
Verb ends in y (except for 'play')	Remove y and add -ied
Verb ends in C	Add -ked

Present: I walk to school every day.
