Goals:
  • Leerlingen leren en oefenen het stellen en beantwoorden van yes/no-questions met verschillende grammaticale structuren.
  • Leerlingen begrijpen hoe ze vragen moeten formuleren met am/are/is, can, do/does, en have got.
  • Leerlingen kunnen deze structuren toe passen.

The rule with to be
- Begin met het juiste vorm van to be (is, are, am).
- Volg met het onderwerp (de persoon of het ding waar je het over hebt).
- Voeg de rest van de vraag toe.
Example: Are they happy?
Is it always difficult to wake up early for school when you stayed up late the night before?

We gebruiken ''can'' om te vragen naar vaardigheden, toestemming, en mogelijkheden.
example: 
- Can you swim?
- Can I go to the school dance?
- Can you please pass me the salt?

Do- en does-vragen worden gebruikt om te vragen naar acties, gewoonten of feiten

Have got-vragen worden gebruikt om te vragen naar bezit, familie of kenmerken.
Have I got a pet? - I have got a pet
Has she got a brother? She has got a brother

Gebruik has voor he, she, en it.
Volg met het onderwerp (de persoon waar je het over hebt).
Voeg got toe en de rest van de vraag.
