Challenge 1: Adjectives/adverbs
1. Choose 5 of the adjectives below and write a new sentence that uses those in adverb-form. The ones with * are 'special'. Try to find out why. 
Example: heavy: The truck was too heavily loaded, it couldn’t get up the hill.
beautiful, hungry*, kind, intense, angry*, quick, careful, dangerous, fast*

Challenge 2: What a day!
3. Pick 7 of the irregular verbs from the list in the taskbook. Then write about an incredible (not real/real) day you had, using all those irregular verbs in the past simple, as you would in a diary (dagboek).

 
Example: to see + to come. Dear Diary, you wouldn’t believe what I saw today! I was in the city and a wild lion was running through the centre. It came straight towards me.
