Example
(Topic sentence/point) Macbeth is a prime example of mans need for power.
(Explanation) Due to his desire to be King of Scotland, Macbeth was prepared to complete his mission at any cost.  In the story we learn how his need for power drives him to destroy all that should have sacred to him.
(Evidence) Macbeth killed the current King and blamed men he had invited to be guests at his castle. He also arranged for his friends and their family to be murdered, his wife became mentally unstable due to this and ended up killing herself. (conditional) If I were Macbeth, I would find a way to gain power with less devastation. Given that Macbeth was hell bent  on achieving his mission, he could have been more clever about it (gives suggestions). (conclusion sentence)  A need for power should never cost innocent people their lives.
