Rule passive: always conjugation of  'to be' + past participle
                                                      Examples: 

  1. The tables are decorated with flowers.
  2. My room is being cleaned.
  3. I was told the scenery in Avatar was based on this landscape

How to convert active -> passive 
Passive: object + verbs* + subject
* verbs: 'to be' + past participle

What makes a sentence passive?
The combination of 'to be' + past participle (volt. dlw) makes a sentence passive

The woman is bitten (by the dog).

The wound was stitched (by the doctor).
