Sports!
Football is huge in the UK, and certainly in London
Arsenal FC and Chelsea FC (and their stadiums) are both located there.
In addition, London has the Wimbledon Tennis Museum and hosts a variety of other sports, like cricket and rugby.
Can you think of any others?

Fashion!
London is/was home to many famous designers, such as
Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood.
It also hosts the London Fashion week annually where designers, models, and influencers from around the world come together to appreciate and showcase their latest creations.

Music
  • Several very famous bands and artists originated in London, for example: David Bowie, Dua Lipa, Mumford and Sons, Coldplay and more!
  • It also hosts a variety of music festivals, from the jazz & funk festival Across The Tracks to the underground techno festival Wide Awake.
  • The UK is also home to countless famous artists who perform regularly in London, like Adele, Harry Styles, and (long ago) The Beatles.

Food

  • The full English breakfast, or fry-up, is internationally known for being rather large and heavy. But the average Brit does not have one every day!
  •  Traditional English food has always had lots of meat, primarily beef.
  • Fish and chips, meat and potato pies, and various puddings (desserts) are favourites.
