What prepositions of place do you know?

Prepositions = voorzetsels

Prepositions show how different words in the sentence are related to each other.

Three types:

• Place - where? The glass is on the table.
• Direction - where to? They cycled from Hilversum to Amsterdam.
• Time - when? School starts at 9 am.

The preposition of a place tells us something about the direction that a preson or object is (moving) in.
