Voor het onderzoek moet ik nog een groepsgesprek voeren. Ik laat een deel van de klas in het lokaal zitten (ongeveer 10 lln)

De rest gaat in de zelfwerkzaamheidruimte werken. Voor degene die liever met oortjes in, in het lokaal willen werken dan mag dat ook. Deze leerlingen krijgen extra opdrachten omdat zij geen gesprek voeren (compensatie voor degene die ik heb gekozen voor het gesprek) 

Groupwork - Form groups of 4 people and name your group.

Pre-activity 

Brainstorming vocabulary in pairs. 

Step 1: Discuss with one of your partners vocabulary related to making pancakes. You are allowed to write nouns and verbs. 

Step 2: Write  it down in the following mind map.

As the video plays: 

Step 1. You will write down along with your group members either verbs or ingredients from the recipes used by Jamie Oliver in his YouTube channel.

Step 2. You can compare with your team members the correct spelling of the words.

Main activity 

In your group of 4, you will do: 

1. Choose any of the recipes from the Choice board by Jaime Oliver. 
2. You will write your own recipe with some extra ingredients.
3. FINAL TASK: Write your final recipe and post it on the following Padlet https://padlet.com/jteherangomez/5ngrn40utgosuyxl
   

• IMPORTANT:  On Padlet, you will find a model to write your recipe in a pro level.

 Pitch Time!

Prepare a pitch

Step 1 - In your group, you will discuss about your recipe. You will be given some questions to answer. The questions are displayed in the following slide.

Present the pitch

Step 2 - A leader, appointed by the members of your group, will present the group's answers.

PREPARING YOUR PITCH
1. Which recipe did you choose and why?
2. Did you learn anything new vocabulary or techniques?
3. Would you recommend it to other people?
4. Was there anything that you did not like about the whole activity?

Each team leader has 2 minutes to present his/her pitch. 

Brief, concrete and straight to the point share it in front of the classroom.

Homework

1. Record the preparation of the recipe during your baking class at School by Using Flipgrid.

Do not forget to mention the ingredients, step by step of the preparation of your pancake as Jamie Oliver's video played during class.

2.  IMPORTANT: To log in Flipgrid, introduce your institutional email and put your video in the group of your class.
