Germanic Leaders
Clovis (Leader of the Franks) conquered more and
more land and killed other Frank leaders to unite 
all the Franks under his rule.

In the Germanic culture it was verry common to fight. 
Every won battle gave them honour and respect and loot/booty. 

What is the biggest difference between the Germanic and Roman culture?

Kingdoms became hereditary (erfelijk)
Kings devide their land between their sons; making it smaller

The Franks were more succesful. 

1. Clovis becomes a Christian. 
2. Support from the Catholic Church

The Franks also defeated the Frisians and ruled there after 800
