We use the
Simple Present
to talk about:
Facts
Habits
Routines
Things that happen always/ never
Also: to talk about 'timetabled' future events & a series (completed) of events*.

Some rules to remember...
Most verbs in the Simple Present have
two forms
:
1. The
base
(stem) for all persons
except 3rd person
singular:
I
work
at Mc Donald's.
You
work
at ZARA.
They
work
for Mr. Jones.

of verbs ending in a
hissing sound
(sisklank) is followed by
-es

if the base ends in

is added.
