Linking words; Choose from the following linking words to fill in the gaps

School uniforms are known to promote unity within schools. Typically, a school uniform features the school logo and you can clearly observe which school a student attends. Also, students cannot show off with expensive clothing. 1.______________, you don't have to worry about what to wear at school, it's already been decided for you.

Text structure 
The linking words serve as signposts in the text. It shows the direction of where the author's ideas are heading. When you see a linking word such as: 'nevertheless' (desalniettemin), 'however' (maar), 'even though' (zelfs als) the author comes up with a contradiction. When a linking word such as: 'furthermore' (verder)  'secondly' (ten tweede), 'moreover'  (bovendien), is used, the author gives extra information.
