South Africa - the facts

• The most southern country in Africa
• 59 Million inhabitants
• 11 official languages (Zulu 23%, Xhosa 16%, Afrikaans 14%, English 10%)
• 3 capital cities, Pretoria, Cape Town and Bloemfontein
• The flag exists since 1994 and can be seen as a combination of Dutch, English and African symbols
• In the 20th century South Africa was infamous because of it's system of Apartheid
