Writing an application letter

What is an application letter?

Name some things you can write an application letter for.

Do you have a job? If yes, did you have to write an application letter?

1. No, I don't have a job.
2. Yes, I have a job but I didn't have to write an application letter.
3. Yes, I have a job and also had to write an application letter.

Promoting yourself and talking politely

There are a couple of rules when writing an application letter:

- Name your strenghts and what you can bring to the company

- Mention the positive things about yourself

- Use formal language and be polite
