Preparing for watching

1. Look at the title of the clip. Ask yourself what you already know about the subject (voorspellen).
2. Read the questions before watching and underline key words in the exercises.
3. Determine the goal:
   - identify the topic
   - watch intently (aandachtig) or for specific information.

You are going to watch a video about teens who talk about their holiday experiences. They all went to a sunny holiday destination – except for Curtis, who went skiing. 

Which holiday would you prefer? A sunny holiday, a skiing holiday, or would you prefer to stay at home? Explain your answer.

Exercise 7 - After watching

Each of the pupils had different holiday experiences: some better than others. 

Write two things you think would make a holiday perfect (+), and two things that would be less fun, or even disappointing (-).

Instead of teaming up with a classmate for exercise 9, you will do this exercise by yourself. Be creative!

Example: My island would be situated in the Caribbean. It’s always nice and warm there, so perfect for lots of fun outdoor activities. You can go waterskiing, snorkelling, swimming, skydiving, ziplining or horseback riding.
