I know common mistakes made in English.

I can find common mistakes in an English text and fix them.

How do you want to work?

I am quite good at English
and can work alone.

I would like to work together

and do the questions with 
other students and the teacher.

1. work on the stencil - side 1

2. Check your work (raise your hand and Ms Sannes will come to you). Correct any mistakes with another colour pen.

3. Find and fix the mistakes (side 2)

4. Raise your hand for (HO) writing assignment. Choose A or B and start your e-mail.

1. Start with Part 1 Bad English and write the correct English under 'Good English'.  You can work with the person next to you (whisper).

2. We discuss each part and you correct any mistakes while we go through it.

3. Work on side 2 (whisper).

Begin met: Dear Sir/Madam, (en niet meer met ‘hello’ erna)

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to introduce myself. My name is (voor- en achternaam). I am a 15-year-old boy. (let op streepjes) of  I am a boy and I am 15 years old. (let op meervoud)

Afkortingen uitschrijven om fouten te voorkomen

it's -> it is

don't -> do not

- ik = I

Met een hoofdletter!!!!

- Spreektaal vermijden

u -> you

 wanna -> want to (liever: would like to)

 gonna -> going to

 cause/cuz -> because

- woordvolgorde: WIE DOET WAT WAAR WANNEER 

Dus plaats en tijd aan het aan het einde van de zin, eerst plaats, dan tijd

- were/where        We were friends. (Wij waren vrienden)                                    Where do you live? (Waar woon jij?)

- very (niet verry)

- with (niet whit)

- to/too (too = ook of te als in te veel)

- of/off

- peaceful/beautiful (niet peacefull of beautifull)

 -s aan het woord vast! cafe -> cafes

 hobby -> hobbies

lidwoorden a/an -> a man, an apple/orange (klinkerklank)a 15-year-old boy
