Spelling exceptions: verbs ending in -Y
If the -y is preceded by a vowel .(klinker) Example: 'Enjoy'
-> verb + ed (same rule as before)
- I enjoyed our walk yesterday.
BUTIf the -y is preceded by a consonant. (medeklinker) Example: 'Hurry'
-> -y becomes i + add -ed
- He hurried to catch the last train home.
