Cambridge Exams
We offer lessons at two levels: C1 Advanced; C2 Proficiency

C1 is sufficient for any university, C2 is near-native. In case of doubt, ask your teacher.

In this lesson we are going to focus on your oral exam. This exam always has the same form. Look at the examples.

Structure of the test
CAE Speaking Test
Duration: 15 minutes (23 minutes for groups of three at centres where there's an odd number of candidates).
Participants: Candidates interviewed in pairs or threes. Two examiners: one examiner asks the questions, the other acts as assessor and doesn't speak during the interview.
Format: The test consists of four parts. 
In the next slide you will see an actual exam taking place. After that you can see the structure of the exam explained. Please read the instructions carefully, so that you know what to expect during the exam.

- Listen and React - Interact with your partner - Keep control - Make eye contact with your partner / examiner
- Show your language skills - Find ways to express yourself - Balance accuracy and fluency
- Ask question if you don't understand - Help your partner - Maintain the flow for the required time
