Introduction: We will now be looking at the Stones. To do that, there's a conversation on the board. I'll pick 2 of you to play the roles and once we're done, all of you find the 7 stones that are used in this conversation. Write them down.
Pick 2 students to play Jill and Max and let them read out the conversation. Next, tell everyone to grab their book and find the 7 stones used in this text and to write those down for themselves.
They will get 5 minutes for that and then we'll check.
5 min find, 3 min check, 3 min read. about 10 min.
Students are quiet while instruction is given or conversation is being read, they may talk while trying to find the stones and raise their hand to answer my questions.

Students do the reading exercises and then continue on with the theme words exercises.
Make sure students are quiet while I tell them what to do and ask a student to repeat back to me what they have to do now to make sure everyone knows what to do.
If they are not doing what they're supposed to be doing:
1. I will repeat what I want from them
2. I will give them a warning
3. I will put them somewhere else
4. I will make them do some 'strafwerk': words from B Dutch-English 3 times
They have to do this until the end of the lesson.
They may not leave early, they may not use their phone, they may not refuse to do the work. They may, however, if they're done with the work take out their reading book and read it.
Homework tomorrow
Do: Ex 8-10 on wb. p. 90-93
Study: Stones from D
Slide 9 - Slide

Goals
I'll ask someone to read these out loud and confirm.
- I know how to talk about my passions
- I can tell the class what Pete collects (listening fragment)
Slide 10 - Slide
Students do not have to raise their hands here, I will ask a student to read out the goals and ask if they have done both things (and to give an example of one of the words + their meaning and what Irish dancing is)
Students may not put their books away until I am done discussing the goals with them. If they do, they need to grab them again. No exceptions. (Unless I have told them they could in the step before this)
