Research Approach

What they are wanting to see in this part of the coursework is if you can describe the activity and research where you can go to do it throughout the country.

To do this we need to go over what everything means:

to do this- input both definitions together.

This is a research approach assessment- meaning you will need to look into things yourself and make sure you record your findings.
For that MB3- activities need to be describe with clear and relevant examples, including where you can do it.
Split into two areas- regional and national- so need to remember to give both.

What you need to research
You need to provide the national governing body for the activity (this will help with the next aspect of your work).
You then need to suggest locations (regional and national) where each activity can be participated in.
You also need to suggest organisations who lead sessions that you could participate in.

- Regional is classed as anywhere within 100 miles of school (NG19 0JX).
- National is classed as anywhere over 100 miles of school (NG19 0JX).

Regional and National Provisions
You then need to suggest sports centers (regional and national) where each of the above could be participated in.

Find some near us:
Regional is classed as anywhere within 100 miles of school (NG19 0JX).
National is classed as anywhere over 100 miles of school (NG19 0JX).

Slide 20 - Slide

This is a research approach assessment- meaning you will need to look into things yourself and make sure you record your findings.
How will this be marked?
- You've defined what an outdoor adventurous activity is and the aims of them.
Split into two areas- regional and national- so need to remember to give both.

This is a good introduction as they are wanting CLEAR descriptions within your work to get that MB3.
You also need examples of where you can do this regionally - less than 100MILES of the school and nationally which is over 100miles of the school.

Now we have set the scene (as you would say) we now need to go onto the main piece of work.
