Now, we will check what you learned from paragraph 4.1, and we will move on to paragraph 4.2.

Goals

• You can name all parts of the male reproductive system and what their functions are
• You can name the external and internal parts of the male reproductive system

Discuss question 1  from paragraph 4.1, to check if you've understood it!

Many words regarding the male system are already known, some more decent than others .. ;)

Time for 'het vieze woorden spel'!

Name all the names for parts of the male reproductive organs that you know!

• Penis
• Testis 
• Scrotum

• Internal (inside the body, not visible): everything else

Why are penis and scrotum outside?

• Scrotum: For production of healthy sperm cells, a temperature lower than the body temperature is required.
• Penis: For injection of sperm into female reproductive organs

• Two weeks from now on Monday, we will quiz you to check if you understand the different parts of the male reproductive system
• To prepare yourself for that, we have an assignment for you: make a list of all the bolded words in the paragraph, together with their definition. Deadline = before the next lesson.

• The assignment as noted in the last slide
• Make exercise 2, 3, 4in your workbook
• Prepare for paragraph 2.3 (read through it, look up the words you don't know, etc)
