Discussing the SO
  • I'm handing out the SO's and I'll put the answers on the screen so you can check what you did wrong.
  • Count the amount of mistakes/points you got to make sure it's correct.
  • for the words: spelling mistake is -0,5 and wrong word is -1
  • for the sentences: per mistake -0,5 max -2,0
  •  If you have any questions about anything, you can come to me.
  • Once everyone is done checking it, you have to hand the SO back in.

Prefixes
A prefix is a group of letter that is added to a word to change its meaning. 
  • mis-: (wrongly)
Example: misunderstand, misplace
  • dis-: (not, opposite of)
Example: dislike, disagree
  • in-/im-: (not)
Example: incomplete, impossible
  • un-: (not, opposite of)
Example: unhappy, unfair
Can you think of some other prefixes?

Quick game
Here's a list of some prefixes:
dis, mis, re, un, in, im, mis, non, under, over

Within 5 minutes, think of as many words you can come up with with these prefixes. The students/pair with the most (correct) words wins!
