- Uncountable nouns are objects that can't be counted

for example: water, sugar, sand

- article (lidwoord)

- A is used before a noun that starts with a consonant sound (medeklinker)

- An is used before a noun that starts with a vowel sound (klinker)

 Some & any

how much & how many

- How many is used with countable nouns.

for example: How many students are in this classroom?

- How much is used with uncountable nouns.

for example: How much sand is there in the desert? 

Too & (not) enough

Too many is used with countable nouns

Too much is used with uncountable nouns 

(not) enough is used with both countable and uncountable nouns

Was & were

- Past tense of the verb 'to be'

Possessive pronouns and adjectives 

- Possessive pronouns are used to replace the main noun

- Possessive adjectives are used to show possession of a noun
