Singular and Plurals

Plurals

Noun	Rule	Singular	Plural
Most nouns	add -s	umbrella	umbrella s
ends in -s, -ch, -x, -z	add -es	wat ch	watch es
ends in -y	y - i + add -es	dictionar y	dictionar ies
ends in -o	add -es	hero	hero es

In English, you don't use 's to make plurals:

Hobby's = Dutch               Hobbies = English

Past Simple

De Past Simple is de Engelse term voor de verleden tijd. 

Je gebruikt deze vorm als je het hebt over 

feiten, gewoonten of dingen die je doet met regelmaat  

die in het verleden gebeurd zijn en nu helemaal klaar zijn.

stam +ed / onregelmatig werkwoord
