Love story
We're going to listen to a song which is called love story. This is inspired by the Romeo and Juliet play.
I'm going to hand out the lyrics to you as well.
- I want you to underline the parts that are similar to the play.
- Think about which parts are different from the play and write it down as well.

Love story
Similarities: it's about romeo and juliet, forbidden love, they meet in secret, same costumes and setting, romantic

Differences: the song has a hapy ending whereas the play doesn't, the play is about both families hating each other and the song is simply about juliet's dad not approving
