2. Rosemary decides that she could not fulfill the role of Receiver of Memory, so she asks to be released from the community. What does it mean when a person is released from their community?

Which memories would the community get if something happens to Jonas?

Why would that be terrible? Because the people wouldn't know how to deal with them.

The Giver believes people should know feelings and their world should change. Why?

It would make them 'whole' again. Why would the elders be against it?
