Werkwoordstijden

Present simple (tegenwoordige tijd)

- feiten/gewoontes

 - regelmatigheden

Bijv:

 I walk to school

She/He/It walks to school.

You/We/ They walk to school.

Present continuous (doorlopende tegenwoordige tijd)

- aan de gang

Bijv:

I am walking to school.

She/He/It is walking to school.

You/We/They are walking to school.

Past simple (verleden tijd)

- voor afgelopen handelingen in het verleden.

2 soorten:

1. regelmatig : ww + ed 

I walked to school.

2. onregelmatig: eigen vorm 

(go wordt went )    I went to school.

Present simple, Present continuous & Past simple 

1. Write 10 - 15 verbs.

2. Use the verbs to make sentences using the Present simple, Present continuous & Past simple

For example: 

1. Verbs: eat, walk 

2. Present simple:  I eat dinner at 17.00.

    Present cont. :   I am eating dinner (right now).

    Past simple:        I ate dinner at 17.00.

Present simple 

Startzin:  Dear diary, today is a great day.................

Vervolgzin: I can smell the ocean. I can feel the sun shining so bright. I see beautiful colours everywhere. I see and hear people from all over the world.  Yes, I miss my home and my friends but I still want to be here. I want to spend time and have fun with my family. 

Present continuous

Startzin: I am travelling to Disney world today. I am at the airport......

Vervolgzin: I am waiting in line  to check in my bags at the moment. It is very busy here. The security officers are walking up and down to make sure everyone is safe. There are a lot of students here. They are all travelling together with their families. 

Past simple

Startzin: The sky turned black all around me...

Vervolgzin: I could not see anything. There was a fire outbreak at a factory near my house. The fire  was caused by a gas leak in the kitchen. 

LET'S PRACTICE

You are in your favourite place in the world. There are a lot of animals around. 

Write a  postcard (kaartje).

Write about 30 - 50 words)

Denk aan de werkwoordstijd

Write about:

-where you are and who is with you

- what you are doing at the moment

- what is going on around you

- what do you do or see there

Startzin: A girl was eating whipped cream when......

Vervolgzin: A girl was eating whipped cream when someone stepped on her shoes. At first, she shouts very loud and then she started to cry.

She cries so much that her tears into a lake turned.  

So, she got a boat and go to swim in the lake. in the boat, she saw a big goose. The goose started to chase the boat.

suddenly, it started to rain the girl was afraid, so she shouted for help Finally, the ambulance arrived and rescued her.
