Het mondeling. Je zorgt dat je op tijd aanwezig bent. 

Het mondeling is als volgt opgebouwd:

• 4 minuten: Reading out loud

• 4 minuten: Reacting adequately

• 2 minuten: Picture story

• 4 minuten: Your story

• 4 minuten: Would you rather

We beginnen met een stukje hardop voorlezen in het Engels 

 Reacting adequately 

Je moet in het Engels reageren op een aantal situaties:

For example: You are in a supermarket and you see an old lady trying to reach the top shelf, what do you say?

It’s your birthday and your best friend rings you that he/she isn’t able to come because of an accident, react disappointed but also understanding.

Picture story

Aan de hand van een verhaal in plaatjes (soort stripverhaal zonder tekst) vertel je in het Engels waar het over gaat   

Van tevoren heb je even de tijd om na te denken wat je gaat zeggen.

 Your story:

- Talk about: name, age, personality, family. 
- Talk about: hobbies, job(s), sports

-Talk about: next schoolyear and education

In de volgende slides wat hulpzinnen die je kunt inzetten om de boodschap over te brengen.

 Would you rather

Your teacher will ask you 6 “Would you rather” questions. 

Zorg dat je op alle 20 stellingen een antwoord weet. Je moet kunnen vertellen waarom je kiest voor de ene optie, maar ook waarom je niet voor de andere kiest.

vb. Would you rather be fantastic at riding horses or at driving race cars?

I would rather be fantastic at driving race cars, because then I would travel the world to race against Max Verstappen. I don’t want to be fantastic at riding horses because I am scared of horses.
