What do you always have to do?

  • Always take a notebook with you to class.

The Present Simple
How can you recognize the present perfect?
What happened in the past is still noticeable right now.

Regular verbs: Ex: I have worked very hard (and now I have a high mark on my test)

Irregular verbs : Ex. She has spent all her money on clothes. 

Have or has + verb + ed = regular verb
Have or has + irregular verb = 3rd row irregular verbs

Irregular verbs
Very important!
Irregular verbs don't really have a particular rule. You just have to learn them by heart. 
1st row = present
2nd row = past simple
3rd row = present perfect
