The skeleton consists out of 2 types of tissue:
Bone and cartilage

But..
What are bones made of?

Slide 7 - Slide

Structure of bones
Bones exist out of calcium phosphate and collagen

Calcium phosphate makes the bone strong and rigid.
Collagen makes the bone flexible

Slide 9 - Slide

Changes of bone tissue
The skeleton of a baby consists mostly of cartilage tissue.
During growth, most of the cartilage changes to bone.

When you get older:
--> Amount of collagen decreases
--> amount of calcium phosphate increases.

Slide 10 - Slide

baby is flexible because they have a lot of collagen in their bones
Old people break bones easier because they have less collagen.
Based on what you've learned, make fitting text, include the word collagen
