In the Netherlands we celebrate Sinterklaas 😛
Sinterklaas time is November and he leaves the 6th of December which is his birthday 🎂
Sinterklaas has a white beard and wears red 🔴
Sinterklaas his name is (Saint) Nikolaas
Sinterklaas works together with his Pieten to deliver presents to the children 🎁

The presents get delivered through the chimneys
Children place their shoe or sock at the fireplace in the evening, and sing Sinterklaas songs. The next day they’ll find their shoe somewhere else with candy or a toy inside. 👞🧦
Sometimes children will place hay or a carrot next to their shoe for Sinterklaas’ horse 🥕
If a child is naughty the Pieten will either put coal or salt in the child’s shoe 🧂
The Pieten all have a white pouch filled with candy and pepernoten 🍬
