What is a Tell Sell commercial?

■ A product or service
■ The commercial has to be at least 4 minutes
■ Each person has to say something.
■ Hand it in on You Tube or We Transfer (don’t email me the movie or it will be removed)

Slide 22 - Slide

Some tips:
■ Be over enthusiastic.
■ Use words like: amazing, awesome, it really works, fantastic, unbelievable etc.
■ Always have a special offer for today.

Work on your portfolio Reading
For this assignment you will look for and read an article of at least 1 page from an English language newspaper or magazine. Your article has to be either general or about current affairs and can be no older than one month. You can choose it yourself, so choose one you understand and find interesting!

Examples of English newspapers are The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, The Times and The Independent; examples of American newspapers: The New York Times, The Washington Post. All of these newspapers have a website where you can read articles for free.
You get two assignments with this article:
Make a summary of the article of maximum 10 lines of writing. Use your own words: do not copy whole sentences from the article!
Write your own opinion on the article and provide arguments for that opinion. This section needs to be at least 10 lines or half a minute.
Hand in the full article (not the link) and your own work in a neat manner! Mention your source and remove excess advertising and links from the article.

Pay attention: this is still a writing task, which means you have to pay attention to what you write.
